Benin City, Edo State – Osemwota Imuentinyan Ogiemwen has emerged as Chairman of the Edo State Chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP), leading a newly elected executive council that will steer the affairs of the association following the successful conduct of the chapter's 2026 elections. The election, held on Wednesday, May 30, 2026, ushered in a new leadership team committed to advancing the objectives of the association, promoting professional excellence, and strengthening theatre arts practice across Edo State. Alongside Ogiemwen, members elected Oshiomah Samuel Nyamali as General Secretary, Goodnews Edemevughe as Director of Finance, Precious Obeahon as Director of Publicity, and Jatto Godswill Osose as Director of Production and Screening.
